I laughed through tears. Seriously. It was all fun and games in the beginning, but then Bill zeroes in on an important and painful message. Then the laughter stopped. And (appropriately) I cried.
What I didn't like
Nothing. It was a treat to see. I’d go again.
My overall impression
There is nothing better than an authentically funny story rooted in pain. Bill Posley’s “The Day I Became Black” is just that. Kudos to Bill for sharing his deeply personal story that both entertains and informs. That’s the best kind of storytelling there is. Go see this show. You won’t be disappointed.
