What I liked
I loved the interludes with the space station. It was nice to see the band as part of the story rather than just ‘the musicians who happened to be on stage.’ It was also amazing to see Dagney Kerr play so many roles and I didn’t even recognize that she was until the very end!!! The whole cast did well on that too.
What I didn't like
Add some horns in the music section. I think the parts with the Observer — especially since Dagney has awesome dance moves — would really be incredible if it went full ska treatment.
My overall impression
It’s a cute story. On the surface it seems very basic, but the undertones of love and survival are what help move the story along. A very well put together show that warms the heart like a nice sunny day at the beach.
