Had the great honor of seeing Steven Prescod’s closing night performance of his upliftinging, razor-sharp solo play “A Brooklyn Boy.” Wonderful story, vivid imagery, energy and a beautiful spirit, soaring out of a young man raised on the streets of Bed Stuy, who was saved by art and theatre. What about that doesn’t sound like everything this country needs right now? Be on the look out for this show, New York City. Congratulations to you on sharing your important and inspirational story! Also, incredible directing by Moises Roberto Belizario. Such magic.
The arts nourish the spirit, people. I LOVE SOLO PERFORMANCE! BRAVO!...
