This show has it all! Thought provoking silliness, laughter as well as tears, this story is masterfully told. You will sit back and enjoy the ride from beginning to end.... full review

Victor Isaac is an extremely accomplished performer. He is a comedy master and in this, you get to see and fully appreciate his range as an actor. I thought the show was funny (of course - it's Victor) but also deeply moving. I was not expecting where the play went but I was totally there for the ride. I highly recommend this show.... full review

Hilarious, touching, immediate, provoking, masterful. These are a few words I would use to describe Victor Isaac in The Word. From the moment that he steps on the stage he commands your attention and works with such ease. A brilliant piece with great writing, great directing, and amazing acting. The best show of Fringe by far.... full review

Victor Isaac was an absolute delight to watch! I was glued to his performance from beginning to end, even though I saw this a midnight! He gives a captivating performance as he effortlessly alternates through three unique characters. The piece itself was original and satirical, though very relevant to modern day mentalities. I would absolutely go see this show again!... full review

I saw bits of this originally a few years ago as a part of Sacred Fools' late night show "Serial Killers", so I was familiar with the characters going in. What Victor did in the intervening years was to take the characters and weave them into a funny, powerful show about redemption and living on through the impact you leave on others. I did not expect to be so moved by the last 20 minutes. Simply beautiful. The way the show crafts these silly characters to be people we care about by the end is masterful. A MUST SEE! ... full review

Victor & JJ have collaborated on a real gem. There is more than one layer of story being told here, but it’s subtle, funny, and poignant all at the same time. I was sucked in from the beginning. ... full review

Wow, the writing and acting was fantastic! This is not a single dimensional performance... it took me through a wide range of emotions and really made me think too. The multiple dimensions kept me engaged throughout and satisfied at the end. From start to finish, it was brilliant!... full review
