Very strong performances. Cool vibe. Lots of drinking. Smooth and engaging story. I enjoy simple settings with interesting dialogue and interactions. The characters were fun, smart, and unique. Lots of heart but lots of comedy. Overall fun show. ... full review

A great show that takes all of the topics and thoughts you wish you could say and puts them right in front of your face to their natural and ugly conclusion. Great acting, great writing, quick back and forth. Highly recommend it.... full review

It's an updated "God Of Carnage" but with Hollywood influencers instead of parents. Plus there's a deal with the devil type scenario which is well executed. It's the best fun I've ever had watching people be despicable.... full review

I really loved this show! Yes, it’s controversial subject matter, but I’m my humble opinion, that is what theater is for! It pushes the boundaries! The creators and cast took an admirable risk! YES. I think we need more of that! The writing is fantastic! The acting wonderful! The palpable tension and emotion in the theater throughout the show made it an experience I’ll remember and talk about for a long time. Thank you for creating this show! I’d really encourage the writer/creators of this show to submit this script for potential future productions.... full review

All the topical taboo scenarios we fear on a silver platter are brought to light in fits of wit and whimsy, often so fast that you may feel your head is spinning trying to catch all the sarcasm as it flies past your ears. Imagine sitting down to dinner with friends, enjoying a few drinks and then really saying what is on your mind including secrets, opinions, and unfiltered drunk words. Would your friendships survive? Sugimoto’s philosophical, full tilt, façade-filled commentary leaves... full review

'WPD' was a steady slurry of taboo topics, philosophy, pop culture, social media, and social commentary guised as a classic dinner party. I was amazed at how many different conversations were brought up during the duration of the play. Pair that with the rapid-fire dialogue and direction- making the play whizz by like a flick of a thumb on our instagram feed. Writer Dan Sugimoto is clearly a man who has a talent for analyzing the world around him and being able to articulate those sentiments through his dialogue and characters--who are as diverse as the topics discussed. I also have to mention how well rehearsed this play was. Every actor seemed to hit their timing, lines, and delivery with great success-even in moments of dual, somet... full review
