What I liked
Lisa Verlo is a delight to watch, embracing the subject with an innocent cheekyness that doesn’t preach at the audience with in your face energy. Instead, assisted with hilarious and complimentary projection sequences she takes us through a journey of her experiences combined with live original song to explore the subject rather than dictate what is.
What I didn't like
I wasn’t sure if the lectern was an artistic choice or a necessity in that it was needed to assist the actor’s memory for lines. It bothered me less as the show went on, but maybe there is a directorial way of making it more ‘part of the show’ if this is needed to assist the actor post-preview.
