CAVEAT: I’m a friend and collaborator with this group and am reviewing as such, not in an official capacity with Gia On The Move. Unknown Artists and Ruckus Rockwell did it again. RUNAWAY CLONE is a tight, laugh-out-loud musical comedy with well- crafted characters, a seamless plot, and inspired writing - both book and music. All of the performances are on fire, but Pam Quinn’s evil doctor shines with comedic brilliance. Scott Golden delivers a touching performance and a monologue I am jealous that I didn’t write/perform. Emily Clark’s sexy snark is on display again, thank theatre gods, and Peter Carrier and Jeff Scott Carey nail dopey comedy. OMG – Scott Golden can sing, and act, and so can the rest of this amazing cast. Pamela Eberhardt has written a masterpiece of comedic musical theater, as well as stealing the show with her fabulous portrayal of Laura, maker of clones. This show was truly one of the best parts of HFF18, and The Unknown Artists deserve all the recognition they can get. ... full review
