What I liked
The characters, and particularly the portrayal of Laura by Pam Eberhardt, who had the audience in stitches through the entirety of this play, through every single expression, in moments as small as a glance or weird pronunciation of a word. Every single character was deeply interesting and captivating and strange, and I loved watching the different combinations of people interact with each other throughout the musical. 11/10, I’m obsessed with this show.
What I didn't like
Love every part as it is.
My overall impression
After seeing this, I left the theater feeling completely rejuvenated and alive, having experienced so much laughter and joy. The music, the characters, the writing, the wit, the weird and captivating story, all made this experience one that’s not to miss. I was in it from the moment it started. The bar was set high from the beginning, but my attention did not waver even a small amount by the end. The acting and singing are phenomenal, and harmonies are seamlessly tight and well crafted. The characters are hilarious and absurd, and the music is sheer brilliance! I am still in awe, and still, have the tunes racing through my head. Bizarre and beautiful, I loved every second.
