What I liked
For one, the emotion of it all. (Mentioned this above).
Another big one: I felt like we saw that everyone is both good and bad, that we all have our triumphs and struggles. There was a lot of sadness, thinking about a man (Van Gogh) who created such beautiful work, yet lived in poverty and ended up giving into some of his troubles. A man who was deeply spiritual and longed for God (even was a pastor for awhile), was amazingly talented, yet still struggled with so many things. In a lot of ways, I feel like that’s all our stories as humans – we long for greater things, yet so often give into the things which are less.
Amazing play. Loved it.
What I didn't like
I think a little bit more mood music would have been great. Perhaps a few times where the lights were brought low, then brought back. There weren’t many things to break up the play (which didn’t matter for this, because it honestly was so well done), and I would think that moving forward those things could be helpful. But overall so well done! :)

Loved it!
Full disclosure: my dear friend wrote and starred in the play. So I went entirely to support my friend.
That being said, it honestly was such an incredible production. I love how so much story and emotion was packed into a small place. One room, four props, five actors (with one actor on stage the ENTIRE time). It was fun, engaging, extremely emotional. And it was such an interesting look into a very misunderstood man (Vincent Van Gogh).
