Simple stage design, top notch casting and acting, three actors who are so in tune with each other they move as one without thinking. There’s too much to like to list.
What I didn't like
I found no faults. Perhaps it’s not for children? Neither is Shakespeare.
My overall impression
I can not recommend this modern Shakespeare re-telling enough. It’s funny, it’s self-aware, it’s innovative and shockingly real. Less Hamlet and more like someone chewing up a soliloquy and spitting it at you. It is a playground built upon the minds of Kelley Pierre, Payden Ackerman, and the breathtaking Katelyn Schiller, who returns to Fringe after last year’s stunning Quantum Entanglement to once again warp traditional theatre into a more-perfect shape.
Hamlet fan or not; it’s doesnt matter. See this play and you’ll find yourself hidden inside it.
