After suffering from a nervous breakdown, a successful novelist, GEORGE HAYGOOD, is released from a mental institution into the care of his ex-wife, GENESIS SLOCOMBE, a high powered attorney. Over the course of one weekend, they begin to come to terms with their irreconcilable differences.
