It took a second to get into, but once I picked a side, my mind became deeply curios about the characters and, without giving too much away: layers. There are layers written in these character's lives. This show is goofy and psychological, you will have a blast at it.... full review

This is a badass, raw, and rare show. If you have an appetite for absurd dark humor then this will satiate your desire. I love the way this play looks from the audience's perspective. Composition is balanced, like a Wes Anderson flick. The story felt like a cross between early Durang and Lynch; bold, suspenseful, allegorical, and sometimes flat out nutty. A dark, twisted horror comedy that only gets more so as it progresses, and revels in sticking the audience's nose right in its adorably sick heart. A drawing room comedy (or dining room) with hilariously heightened and stylized over the top acting, about a family that borrows a bit from Edward Gorey, and the Adams Family, although it ultimately makes the Adams Family look like the Brady Bunch. Deliriously demented. I was alternately hilariously entertained, startled, horrified and disgusted over 70 minutes of manic energy and comedy. Dylan Wallace's plays are always a treat and Jocelyn Hall, as ever, is excellent - as is the rest of the cast. I enjoyed this. It's over-the-top and a little wild. Silly, goofy and squirm-inducing. I cringed. I had to look away at times. And I completely enjoyed it. I laughed a lot while the people around me were screaming. Sue me.... full review
