What I liked

I really connected with those girls. I laughed a lot throughout this show. The thing I liked the most was the message, or the lesson of the show. Love yourself. Follow your dreams. Put on your own life preserving mask before helping someone else with theirs. Save your deepest emotions for those who deserve them!

What I didn't like

I don’t really have any notes for these hilarious girls! I will say that I missed a couple of lines from their excitement or possibly from them being spoken sort of quickly. But I really liked the stories, the pace, the throughline and the candor.

My overall impression

Do not let the pop title throw you off, this is a very serious piece of comedic and dramatic theater. In fact, though some stories in the show are probably very personal, I can see generations of college girls buying a copy at Samuel French and combing through for monologues. I hope to hear that this play goes up with the original performers at other Festivals and theatres around the world! As an LA girl, I understood every line and have had many similar experiences.
