Erickson and Boggs are both hilarious and lovely without taking themselves too seriously. Hell, without taking themselves seriously, at all. They’re throwing themselves, each other, and their love lives under the bus, knowing that the bus is going to run them over, reverse, and repeat. But it’s for insight, it’s for reflection, it’s for personal growth, it’s for emotional and romantic education without being mushy.
It’s exactly what theatre is supposed to be. Never a dull moment. When it’s over, you’ll feel better about our shared struggles with the human condition.
What I didn't like
Project those voices past the back row, they were a little too quiet at times.
Seriously, that’s my only note.
My overall impression
Loved it!!! Two beautiful people showing us that the struggle is real, not by simply trashing men, but by taking a hard look at themselves, their choices, their patterns, and their processes.
