The structure followed a typical season of the Bachelor, with a common cast of characters that skewered the stereotypes. All the actors performed with gusto, and I really loved Fritz, the chaperone—who’s snarky despair was the heart of the show. The musical numbers were clever and well-choreographed.
What I didn't like
At times, the show is repetitive. I wanted the clever writers to explode the Bachelor’s standard narrative more (not just at the end—though that moment was great). And juicier character arcs would have helped the show transcend parody, but the music, performances and jokes were more than enough to carry me through.
My overall impression
Hilarious and delightful! The dialogue is quick and full of jokes, the lyrics are sharp and the music is catchy. Great cast—easy and fun to watch.
