Charlotte Munson both commands the stage and invites her audience into her world with ease and grace. The combination of speaking and singing is well-timed and keeps the piece moving briskly. Her admirable, haunting portrayal almost makes you forget the sad end of this story.
What I didn't like
The sound design could be cleaned up a bit.
My overall impression
A powerful, fast-paced hour that lets the People’s Princess speak for herself. Charlotte Munson is a force of nature, imbuing Diana with a high-energy, wide-eyed genuine optimism. And when she’s faced with a mountain of obstacles, her journey to conquer them is both inspiring and heartbreaking. One of the best solo performances you’ll see at any Fringe.
