What I liked
the focus on grief and pain takes precedence over political themes. The intriguing suggestion that the terrorist act was in response to American actions, such as the downing of an Iranian passenger plane, is briefly mentioned but not delved into. As a result, the play falls short of being as revolutionary as its Euripidean inspiration, which boldly presented anti-war sentiments voiced by women to an all-male audience
What I didn't like
Nothing
My overall impression
This play is great. I like it and geometry dash lite. It addresses a highly relevant issue: the emotional aftermath of terrorism. However, while Brevoort suggests, similar to Euripides, that the victims must move past their trauma, she limits herself by sticking to traditional storytelling methods. The pivotal moment where the protagonist experiences a change of heart in Washington is described rather than depicted.
