What I liked
The use of multiple characters, the musicians on stage, the dance at the end of the performance. I also liked Tameka’s ability to speak to the audience in what seemed to be casual asides.
What I didn't like
Hmm, this is tough. I really enjoyed the dance and movement by Tameka herself, maybe just a touch more of that?
My overall impression
This covered much more territory than I thought it would, The mix of first person narrative, Maya Angelou’s words, music and dance was uplifting; the musicians on stage and the very comfortable seating also made the overall experience special.
