What I liked
Highlights include the gifted choreography, survival through Hurricane Katrina’s’ aftermath in New Orleans, LA and an unlikely paired romance.
What I didn't like
The sets simplicity left possibilities for growth and a possible touring show.
My overall impression
Dr. Tameka Bobs’ passionate grace covers her journey in becoming a woman juxtapose with Dr. Maya Angelous’ tragic yet compelling life. Dr, Bobs’ performance art piece intertwines theater, dance, and music. Adding visual video screens throughout the play to aide the audience through her life story.
