The simple set and the engaging, accessible ideas in spite of such a deep subject as death. Also the freedom which the actors had to create their own physicalizations and interpretations of the fine material.
What I didn't like
Not sure about the false ending, the blackout, to allow the ‘dummy’ to be whisked off the stage. It was a little disorienting. Even in the second performance I felt the BO was a jolt.
My overall impression
Very well written, searching, honest, humorous and well staged. I loved the concept of a short play/monologue which is quadruple cast! I saw two very different interpretations of the same words and had two very different experiences. Bravo Greg and actors, and all involved. I felt I was in the presence of quality work. I even thought the “dummy” was real!
