This is the second time I've seen the show, first time in its expanded version. It's very smart, funny, infuriating, sad, happy all at the same time! It's a triumph of taking responsibilities for the choices one makes in life, even before one knows they WERE choices! Laura does a masterful job of playing so many characters from her own life's story. She doesn't defend her choices but shines a light on how to deal with them, even when some of them were perpetrated by others. ... full review

A well told/acted powerful story. Laura puts you in the scenes that she's in. It's as though your living her life story with her.... full review

An honest, humorous, and unselfconscious look at the choices one woman made about life and love. Laura is funny and delightful in her search for her own truth, her boundaries, and what matters most in her life. No finger-pointing or blame, she takes full responsibility for her actions and the decisions she made to take charge and change her life. Brava!... full review

Very real and not afraid to show you the facts, from a woman who’s recovering from her past and trying to see the light in her future. She’s finding it and showing us how she got there, which is lovely ... full review

COURAGEOUS! You could feel the love she has for life, for people, for her family and how that's been taken advantage of. I was sitting next to a teenage boy who I thought was her son (which I later found out it was NOT) and he was totally engaged and moved by her story. He ran up to the stage to meet Laura when it was done. If that doesn't show you this story is for EVERYONE, I don't know what else would! ... full review

Deeply moving, disturbing, intelligently written, yet funny, show! It was raw, empowering, but also was filled with loads of humor to lighten the load. Put this on your list as a must-see!... full review
