What I liked

Acting and chemistry from Peerada Meemalayath and Verenice Zuniga were on point both as mother/daughter relationship and as co-victims – subtle, heartfelt and effortless.

Ramon Garcia provided a fascinating performance as his character switched continuously and seamlessly from adorable to repulsive, you had no idea if he was to be Gabriella’s salvation or destruction.

The movement sequences were exquisite – the kipnapping scene was visually and emotionally gut-wrenching while artistically stunning.

What I didn't like

Ended too soon – I felt like I’d only seen half the show. What was presented was done so with perfect pace and timing I dont feel like anything needed extending or fleshed out, I just wanted more of the story. BUT maybe that’s exactly how it should end – suddenly and abrupt, just like how a happy life is suddenly and abruptly taken away the moment they are kidnapped and thrust into this world. There is no ‘conclusion’ or final ending.. just perpetual suffering. Maybe the audience need to make their own ending by taking action outside the theatre against this horrific issue.

My overall impression

Beautifully executed wake up call to the existence of human trafficking.
