What I liked
EVERYTHING! The use of the stage was so dynamic. The choreography was beautiful and the movement was so great. I also loved the costumes. They were so gorgeous. The music selection was also bomb. Like Solange, Leon Bridges ugh my favorites. The singer had an amazing voice and I also loved the opening so much.
What I didn't like
I felt there could have been another movement or dance piece. I loved watching those moments and would have loved to seen more of that. Maybe even some movement during Obama’s speech would have been interesting to watch.
My overall impression
I LOVE THIS SHOW! This is exactly the type of theater that fuels my soul. I kid you not when I say me and my poster designer could not stop talking about the show for like an hour. The way the handled the topic was so engaging and different. It created so many conversations and was just absolutely powerful. Thank you so much for creating this and for being brave and vulnerable to share it with us.
