What I liked
I loved the audience inclusion. I loved the gold on their bodies. I loved that each woman had such a strong and independent presence. Each had their own story. I felt informed.
What I didn't like
I wanted it to keep going! I am excited to see what these women do next with the piece.
My overall impression
Everyone needs to see this!!! Such a powerful and touching piece. Honestly – how do we get everyone in the world to see this? A compelling discussion of race in our country.
Every woman on that stage commands with power and dignity. I
was deeply moved. It’s the kind of theatre that you need to keep discussing after you’ve seen it — gets you thinking, and starts the real conversations that we need to be having.
