What I liked
The dancers were fire, and the very original score…which I won’t ruin for you by revealing who is playing it…. was a super cool choice. Innovative lighting choices, unusual story-telling modalities, and a lot of heart, made it an activist piece that was extremely moving and highly unusual. Congrats Carrie and all the dancers! “I am an American” was FIRE.
What I didn't like
The only thing I wanted was for the show to be longer!
My overall impression
Rare, rhythmic, uplifting, and powerful! This was SUCH a cool show.
