What I liked
The live beat boxer was amazing. I thought it was a very clever choice to have him begin offstage and then be brought on later so the soundtrack was heard differently and the reveal showed the mastery of this mans sound creation. The dancers and choreography was great! Their movements were really stunning and it was wonderfully choreographed. detailed.
What I didn't like
For me the words sometimes got in the way of the movement. Not always. They were juxtaposed sometimes and I think the physical movement was stronger than the words. I thought some were powerful. the monologue about consuming female bodies was great.
The end was an issue for me. I thought the runway walk and one word could have been powerful if it was varied. Sometimes slow, then quick or layered. the speed could be varied. anything to build to the end.
Also the credit sequence though interesting was too long.
These are nit picky! I loved it.
My overall impression
Clever, interesting, new, active.
