Loved the movement, the use of silence, the ensemble cast and that everyone had their own time to shine.
What I didn't like
I don’t really have suggestions for the piece except maybe to let it end super clean and hard. I really enjoyed it.
My overall impression
I LOVE this show. MUSTSEE! It combines a visceral and raw reality with an embodied intelligence that speaks profoundly to women’s experience. From the Fosse-ish movement in the beginning to the very contemporary use of hip-hop and popping (and with a live beat box sound track), this show will move you and create a continued sense of surprise. I identified with the experiences of being a woman, and loved the artistry. Good work everywhere.
