What I liked
This play felt very personal. I applaud the writer for putting his heart on his sleeve. I also like The actress that played marilyn monroe.
What I didn't like
Too many set changes. Cut the scene with the friend. Why the masks for the band and crew? It was distracting. The song at the end is a disaster. If the play is over and it’s just them taking bows, don’t have them dance and sing at all. The main character could be written more likeable.
Give yourself some restraints and make the story work in those restraints. Meaning have less set changes.
My overall impression
The story made sense but instead of the creator making specific choices to tell the story, they chose to try and do everything at once. Choosing to do everything that comes to your mind is not making choices.
