What I liked
The writing does justice to a very compelling story. This is a story about women standing together and I got the sense of a strong ensemble.
What I didn't like
I think the transitions could have been a little smoother. Probably lighting could help to get a sense of time of day or year so the passing of time is clearer
My overall impression
I loved seeing a stage full of black women portraying full fledged characters in a project led by women. Good writing, good direction a strong ensemble. I am so moved and inspired by the story of these extraordinary women. It needs and deserves to be told to a much wider audience.
