One of the things I really liked about this production was how truthful it was. It seems every generation has some TV show that exploits this narrative with over the top stakes. Mine was “Degrassi” and today is “13 Reasons Why”, but what makes this play unique compared to its contemporaries is that it stays honest. With multiple storylines interweaving and surrounding the climatic event of prom, I could see my own high school years on stage with the added elements of this generations experience. This is what really hit me because not much has changed and how child development is still a much needed topic that has to be discussed. This show has a definite future.

My overall impression
A genuine and authentic portrayal of the high school experience, told by a group of extremely talented high school students.
