This is the quintessential walk around town immersive theater piece. I think it achieves what it set out to do: to have you take in Hollywood Blvd in a new and beautiful way. For me, it was perfect— and I am an immersive theater snob. It was brilliantly simple and concise, produced on a shoe-string budget, and containing no frills, no clunky over-ambitious design systems. Also the actors were good! Really! Theater with good actors? Yespleasethankyou
What I didn't like
I walked far away from my car and then couldn’t get back to it before my meter ran out. Would be good to have a warning.
My overall impression
Wonderful! Finally an immersive show that makes brilliant use of its setting, succeeds in true intimacy between the actors and the audience, and delivers beautiful reflections on life in a clear, straightforward way. There is no fat to trim, this show is perfectly lengthed, perfectly set, well acted, and well executed.
