I loved the lightness of Shelley Robertson. I felt she brought the much need light and laughter to an otherwise very heavy piece of theater.
What I didn't like
I felt the pace of the mother was very fast in a very critical part of the show. It kept me from getting emotional even though she was very emotional. I don’t want to give away the show but in her breakdown…I felt I should have felt it more. Not sure if it was the direction or the pace or what, but I felt out of it during some critical times.
My overall impression
I truly felt the acting was excellent. The story is very good as well. I had a really wonderful time at this show. It was very fast paced and at times it was very hard to understand with the thick Boston accent. But overall it was good.
