What I liked

I like that references to the modern political issues of our day did not take away from the inherent absurdity of Too Many Hitlers. A the end of the day the show has something for everyone (provided you are not so immediately offended by the premise of a show making fun of Hitler, in which case, maybe The Fringe isn’t for you). It has satire, wit, song and dance, slapstick, word play, and is at times pythonesque. I would say that there were perhaps one too many Hitlers… but that’s the point isn’t it? Too many Hitlers!

What I didn't like

There was one extended bit in which there were a string of pop-culture movie references, which while funny, took me out of the premise a little bit. Perhaps that segment is simply not my style of humor. But it’s a minor gripe because, as I noted above, I see the show embraced many comedic styles and has something for everyone, but does not have the problem of coming off as disjointed.

My overall impression

Too Many Hitlers delivered on its promise of absurdist political satire, and then some! I was very entertained for the entirety of the show. Perhaps it goes without saying, but you don’t even have to like Hitler to like this show!
