The humor, ranging from the sublimely subtle to the campy, was funny and refreshing. The musical numbers in particular were pretty delightful. Each Hitler offered their own distinct voice, adding to the mystery element of this very strange and very funny play.
What I didn't like
The desk’s side panel came loose during the performance. Sighting these little gaffes from the booth would allow them to be repaired during blackouts. Some transition music during the blackouts would provide the audience with applause cues as well.
My overall impression
The play is full of laughs and some subtle, and not-so-subtle, political commentary. Fascism is a difficult subject and the performances, direction, writing and staging all walked the line between humor and disgust expertly.
