What I liked
Not only is this show well-written, but Reena convincingly plays eight characters, including herself. She’s a wonderful actress. Plus, the story is raw, emotional, and relatable in that we’ve all landed in situations in which we say to ourselves, “How did I get here?” This story shows how, when you’re finally ready, you can dig deep to find the courage to take back your power, no matter what the situation.
What I didn't like
There are only two performances during the entire HFF. This is not enough for this deserving show to build an audience.
My overall impression
This show is that rare find in which the writing, direction, acting, and production all come together into one seamlessly beautiful experience for the audience. There are lessons learned that make you think. Well done. I highly recommend everyone try to see the May 23 performance, which is the only one left during the festival. I coming back with friends.
