Brilliant Character Actor/Storyteller Imani G. Alexander entrances with tales of 4 women each with a shared connection with Death, Identity and a pile of Bones. As each woman struggles to break free of a private prison, they all find new life in their own way....

This was a true Fringe experience -- I happened upon it when I had an hour to kill and decided to give it a chance. Boy am I glad I did -- it was a fantastic performance from the lead actress. Her ability to transition between four different characters was seamless and impressive. I found her utterly believable in each role as she so fully became the new person whose story she was telling. It's rare to find an actress who can make these shifts so quickly and believably that you really feel she's become someone completely new each time. The storytelling is fun and intriguing as well -- it grips you and holds you....

BONE WOMAN is a beautiful evening of storytelling: lyrical, dark, poetic, wonderfully acted and engaging. I personally did not know much on the folklore and mythology of bones so I found it very interesting. This performance reminds me of the atmosphere we would create telling spooky stories around a campfire when I was young....
