Fuck Tinder is one of the best shows I’ve seen in five years at the Fringe. Not only does solo storyteller David Rodwin play his mouth like Rahsaan Roland Kirk played the tenor sax, but he also tells the definitive story of post-millennial sex & love from a wide-eyed, non-sexist, hilarious, and heart-rending point of view. It’s as though he has nailed himself to the post-modern sex & love cross and is suffering for our sins. He weaves his tales of dating, love, sex, group sex, more sex, and loneliness, into a brilliant, coherent, and profound explication of what we actually are as sexual beings and why and how we mate in this Trumped up world of today. Unless you prefer Dixieland musicals, don’t miss Rodwin’s performance.
What I didn't like
This show is only available for a few brief performances (it deserves a run at the Taper!)
My overall impression
20th Century Fox could attract people back to the cinemas if Fuck Tinder were their big summer release!!
