Imaginative, creative, unique, funny, compelling. Paul's one-man show is a combination of personal experiences and cultural and societal relevance that brings to light the struggles of people of color, particularly Asian-Americans. Through the lens of multiple characters and their aliases, he offers different perspectives on the prejudices this ethnicity has been met with for generations. Paul's thoughtful research shines through his passionate performance. I highly recommend this show!... full review

Paul shines a huge light on discrimination against Asian Americans in the U.S. His piece is exactly what I love in theatre -- the opportunity to be entertained, while opening my mind up to something I had never considered before. Paul does that in the most inventive, brave way. I'll take him as my superhero any day. Well done!!!... full review

Paul's honesty in revealing his insecurities, self-doubt, shame and anger in the process of forging his own identity makes SIC beautifully thought provoking and emotionally rewarding. The way in which Paul weaves his own personal ... full review
