Turbulence is a Fringe MUST SEE. Robot Teammate is a group of smart, hilarious, and insanely talented writers and performers, and I know that no one who sees this show would disagree. The whole cast is incredible, and with the catchy and fun music of Sam Johnides, you will be singing the songs for days! I would definitely recommend Turbulence to anyone, and I hope to see it again! Turbulence is a must see show! It was a blast from start to finish! Robots have perfected the sci-fi musical genre while weaving in fun pop culture references. The music and choreography was incredible. Turbulence is a different story arc from the previous 2 musicals but it still had the same Robot playful charm. Definitely a sensory treat, Turbulence! packs creative production value into their latest comedy musical that might feature the group's best musical numbers yet. The fast-paced plot and well-drawn characters make the play easy to enjoy and follow and the music (which is largely inspired by upbeat 80's pop-rock but includes a fun country-sing-a-long and a dreary but lovely acapella piece that captures the emotional low point) is perfectly weaved into the story. The acting and casting are once again spot-on, with each member of the troupe taking on a fun archetype and bringing their own clever subversive quirks.
