What I liked

The creative staging of utilizing the stars. The use of the cat puppet was both hilarious and endearing. It didn’t confine itself to a genre, it went to many different places but always effectively.

What I didn't like

My overall impression

Quantum Entanglement pokes fun at it’s title, as in “What does that even mean?” A science play? Kind of. What looks like a story astronomy-driven father and his daughter turns out to actually be more focused on her relationship with her mother. And it is a very real relationship. Hard to read, sometimes harsh, but ultimately loving. The earnestness of the father’s character and the distant nature of the mother combine for Katelyn Schiller’s fascinating daughter. She is raw, vulnerable, sweet, heart-breaking, and even takes a moment to let us all know that it’s ok to be loved. It’s all entangling, but that’s why we do it. A really stunning piece that you don’t want to miss.
