Quantum Entanglement

I believe this play would interest those who are familiar with it's genre. I liked the comparison between two organisms needing each to survive in the universe no matter how far the distance was. Although the play was confusing, the actors portrayed their parts very well. I liked the manner than it was produced in and I would consider seeing another play or the full play from this cast. ... full review

Beautiful, poetic... talented cast... lovely writing... and a great artistic set, too. I am really glad I came out for this. The idea to include the audience in the opening was brilliant. Some really lovely moments... and on the whole, a perfect fringe piece (and beyond). Great job!... full review

Quantum Entanglement pokes fun at it's title, as in "What does that even mean?" A science play? Kind of. What looks like a story astronomy-driven father and his daughter turns out to actually be more focused on her relationship with her mother. And it is a very real relationship. Hard to read, sometimes harsh, but ultimately loving. The earnestness of the father's character and the distant nature of the mother combine for Katelyn Schiller's fascinating daughter. She is raw, vulnerable, sweet, heart-breaking, and even takes a moment to let us all know that it's ok to be loved. It's all entangling, but that's why we do it. I had a wonderful time at Quantum Entanglement, it was a very unique and exciting theatrical experience and I highly recommend it. I really love plays that are innovative and present something that pushes the boundaries of Theatre, and I feel that this play absolutely did that with it's quirky story-telling devices and lack of any typical structure. An oddball comedy with bittersweet moments of heartbreak and loss, Quantum Entanglement features an incredibly strong cast. The performances here are the highlight of the show. Offering a story filled with mysterious family relationships, the conversations relating to family dynamics with ideas pulled from studies of quantum physics are mind-spinning in their complexity. There are hugely satisfying scenes throughout this piece – even if individual scenes seem a bit more juicy than the whole. When the lights came up , I was disappointed there was not more… I want to stress the strength of the cast for this piece, tackling some beautiful passages of dialogue, they all rise to the occasion.
