About the Project
The sudden murder of the sergeant of an all black company in Louisiana sets off a chain of events resulting in tension, prejudice, and resentment between both officers and enlisted men, and even against one another. Only Captain Richard Davenport, a rare black officer sent to investigate the murder, can solve a mystery that is as much about the crime committed as it is about the racial divide of the era.
