My overall impression
A very fun ride through Jacobs’ funny, bare, and sometimes warmly sentimental look at his own struggles with depression and insecurity as he transitions into his mid-30s fear that he may spend the rest of his life alone. Jacobs’ energy and comedic presence carry the piece through characters and scenes he plays out in his search for where things went wrong, and recognition of the few times that things were right. Especially fun are the moments when he’s analyzing his Facebook feed. Strong use of multi-media. Great direction keeps things moving.
