SO much fun!! I've only seen, like, maybe five episodes of BUFFY ever and I force-watched a scene from TWILIGHT so I could write a parody scene years ago, but this great musical works even if you don't intimately know the characters from these shows (it's a bonus if you do!). With a fantastic cast of great actors and voices, great fight choreography, a funny book and lyrics, and very specific and funny direction, BKE is a must-see for a good uber-Fringy time!... full review

I liked the energy and music. The show is self-aware of it's fan fiction roots and doesn't shy away from it. As a Buffy fan, I liked the Buffy/Dawn song the most because it was a good balance of commentary on the show and saying something new rather than some other moments that felt like rehashing of familiar territory. The fight scenes were exciting, for the size of the space! ... full review

This show was incredibly fun and entertaining to watch from start to finish! The music, book and lyrics were all top notch. I have only seen the Buffy movie and a few episodes of the TV show and I cannot stand the Twilight series, but it was still easy for me to follow. If you are a fan of either or both of those series you will get all of the little in jokes. If you're an "outsider" like me, there is still more than enough for you to be entertained. Highly recommend seeing this show!... full review

Really fun book & score by Laura Wiley, and a smashing opening number with comically-choreographed fight sequences. Marcus J Freed [Marcus is currently appearing at the Hollywood Fringe in the critically-acclaimed "Solomon: King, Poet & Lover - A Tale of One Man & 700 Wives", now playing @ Studio C. www.solomonplay.com]... full review

written, directed, produced by Laura Wiley, "Buffy Kills Edward" hits all the sweet spots when it comes to franchise parody. it became clear die-hard fans of both series were in the crowd, as many jokes landed and landed hard. but even for a complete non-fan of Twilight and somewhat-fan of Buffy like myself, the commitment and comedic timing of the charming cast will be sure to put a smile on your face. stand-outs include Robison as the oft-ignored sidekick Xander/over-sexed werewolf Jacob, and a couple other surprise roles. his clear and specific take on each character is delightful and keeps you looking out for when he'll pop up on stage again. Mestemacher and Berg, as Bella and Buffy respectively, bring wit and charm to their characte... full review

Buffy Kills Edward is so much fun to watch!! It's very cleverly written and all of the performers seem like they're having a great time on stage. The opening number is super upbeat and starts off the show with such a fun energy!! Definitely a show to see!... full review

A super fun show for fanboys and girls and normal people, too! While it's definitely way more entertaining if you understand the references, this show is also silly enough with enough badass performers crushing their vocals that non-Buffy/Twilight folks can still have a good time. The show is high energy start to finish, immersing the audience in a carnivalesque atmosphere of fun. Every actor is perfectly cast (and cast in multiple roles, which services the comedy beautifully) and lampoons the source material with aplomb. I have to say, Corrine's Bella was uncanny (though K.Stew never had half that stage presence) and she had me in stitches. Sherry's Buffy was spot on with snark, too. With excellent vocal performers and comedians alike, this... full review
