What I liked
Her rap skills. Her Filipina mom. The Q Tip. The truth she expresses. The condoms for safety. The COKE. She’s a genius w props. Her total ease w herself and her storytelling abilities.
What I didn't like
Like Spencer said, shower blocked projector, no biggie.
My overall impression
Cherise is a very inspiring, talented and creative writer and performer. She reeeeaaaallly expands the canvas of what a solo show can be. She kept herself busy working hard the entire hour for our gluttonous entertainment to understand her heartfelt, painful and hysterical journey. And any show that is bold enough to spray us w water guns after fair warning is a fave of mine.
