What I liked

Charise Pascual is incredible in HERPES: A Love Story! Cherry Cola, as I know her, leaves you appreciating the little things in life, even if it’s as small as a little red lesion.

This immersive musical leaves you itching to dance and wet from tears. So wrap yourself up with the little red raincoat you receive at the door and spread the love with a “Herpes: A Love Story” condom because if you don’t they might request a swab test from you.

What do you do when you’re down and out? You look for solace on an island, and in Cherry’s case, you sulk your sorrows and indulge in a few bad choices. Cherry gracefully bounces from scene to scene singing through her pain with numerous #1 hit satirical songs looking for a way out of a deep dark spiral, only to realize later she has power, making her victorious!

What I didn't like

My overall impression

Cherise Pascual sparkles through her fearless bravery as she accepts her past choices. For those whom have experienced trials and tribulations, this show will swiftly change your perception on how you look at life, others, and yourself upon realization of a life altering moment. Herpes: A Love Story is a comedic, educational story with an inspiring melodic message of love.
