Like I said, this show needs a lot of work. The characters were very one dimensional and really served no purpose being on that stage. I think the show would be a lot better if it had been about the best friend and the sister rather than breaking the pacing of the show so we can be "treated" to the main character's awful stand-up routine. I think also there needed to have been better direction, a lot of the scenes were blocked so that the actor's backs were to the audience and there was one scene where the best friend and his boss were supposed to be on the phone with each other but they would talk facing each other and then go back to talking on their phones which made no sense. *Spoiler* The whole work subplot served absolutely no ... full review

Pagliaccis delivers a challenging play about a clown who has committed suicide. I recommend it for those who enjoy European "slice of life" storytelling and don't need the "happy Hollywood ending" to be satisfied. A worthwhile play.... full review

Suicide is not an easy subject but Pagliaccis pulls it off, threading it through dark humor and an emotional roller coaster. Completely engaging, the play makes you think, laugh and cry all at the same time while also helping you remember what's really important in life.... full review

So dark and yet so many comedic moments within the story. Very, very well written. I think it would be extremely hard to find moments in a story about suicide for comedic relief, but the writer and director achieved this perfectly. It's a show that made me laugh and cry, and cringe a lot (in the best way). Very, very good and something I would highly recommend everyone go see.... full review
