Besides the subject and humor, I loved that we got to know a little about the character of Zane through his artistic craft that only got darker as the play progressed. You never know exactly why he did it, but that’s not the importance and it usually isn’t. It’s like a message to workaholics everywhere and a reflection of dreamers and artists who’re either stuck, lost and/ or still trying to better their careers.
What I didn't like
If anything, I would like to know a little more about Tarik and Zane’s friendship.
My overall impression
Suicide is not an easy subject but Pagliaccis pulls it off, threading it through dark humor and an emotional roller coaster. Completely engaging, the play makes you think, laugh and cry all at the same time while also helping you remember what’s really important in life.
