“Apathy Killed The Cat” pushes the envelope as it deals with its central themes of family conflict, sexual confusion, and unfulfilled desire. The protagonist of the piece, a strong Aaron Stall in an empathetic, balls-out performance, grounds the story and balances the play as it drifts from reality to sexual fantasy. There are a couple of twists that I didn’t see coming and thought the play felt a little long at 90 minutes, it was a memorable experience that should be commended for its bravery and unique point of view.
