I’m not a big fan of one person shows. They have to be really, really engaging for me to like them. Under The Jello Mold does NOT disappoint! Jennie Fahn is an amazing writer and performer. This show is incredibly funny, touching, so poignant and so emotional throughout. Congrats to director Tom Cavanaugh also for a fantastic job. The play is perfectly structured and paced so that there is never any disengagement. It had me from the very first moment until the emotional finale. In fact, the 65 minutes seemed to fly by it was so good. To use some theater cliches, it doesn’t miss a beat, you’ll laugh, you’ll cry and you’ll be smiling when it’s over. I loved it and highly recommend it.
